The Town of Davidson and the Davidson Lands Conservancy are hosting the 4th Annual ‘Saturday in the Park,’ a day of activities culminating with a rare opportunity to spend the night at beautiful 200 acre Fisher Farm park in Davidson. This year’s event begins on the afternoon of Saturday October 10th, and ends the following day.
The Davidson Lands Conservancy hosted the first Saturday in the Park in 2012, and hosted again in 2013 and 2014. Prior events have included kids activities and guided nature hikes through the meadows, forests and streams of Fisher Farm park.
This year the DLC is joining forces with the Town of Davidson for another fun weekend in Fisher Farm. From the Town of Davidson’s website:
“Join Davidson Parks and Recreation and the Davidson Lands Conservancy for nature hikes, kids activities, environmental education programs, and a campfire with s’mores. This event culminates with a rare opportunity to camp out at 200-acre Fisher Farm Park. Attendees must bring their own food and camping equipment. We will provide the s’mores and mother nature will provide the beauty. Fee is per household or group of four.”
You can register for Saturday in the Park by clicking here. Registration fees for a group of four are $15 for Davidson residents and $20 for non-residents.
We hope you’ll join us on Saturday, October 10th.
